My approach to design takes inspiration from people and cultures, adapting and changing to fit the specific needs of the client and the business. Employing strategies that help businesses build clarity, express their brands, and empower their people.
As humans we tend to add than take away. An effective design and message is always clear for the audience to understand. In the same way we communicate with one another.
Through the use of colour, patterns and shapes, brand identities are built with the same process in mind. The principles are applied to logo and marketing design. As these become symbols and vessels to communicate the message in the same way that iconography is understood on a daily basis – stairs, lavatory signs, directional signs etc.
